Rediscovered 4- Memories

Memories are silly, they never show up in the right order...

This photo was taken a little over two years ago, almost a month after the biggest change in my life happened.

Have you ever reflected on an event that changed your life? Do you ever remember it in the right order?

I often think about  the day I lost my mother. I remember the hospital, "the call", even the feelings I had that day still feel fresh at times.

The memories of that day, however, do not always occur in right order. I often remember being waken up by "the call" to go to the hospital after recalling leaving her bedside after she was gone. I sometimes think about talking to the nurse about who she was, after remembering the many phone calls I made to some of the family that day. 
She never got to see this picture, however, looking at this picture reminds me of the good times. Since that experience I empathize more than ever for those of my friends and family who have lost loved ones in death. You are in my prayers.

Hopefully this series will be more frequent and enjoyable. :)
